CANNA Start is a balanced single-component fertiliser that we have developed precisely for the needs of young seedlings and rooted cuttings. CANNA provides them with all the essential nutrients in the optimal ratio so they develop into a strong and healthy plant.

CANNA Start is a fertiliser (not a root stimulator) and forms the perfect combination with the CANNA RHIZOTONIC root stimulator. By including CANNA Start in the range, we offer a complete programme for cultivation from the beginning right through to harvest.

Reduces the risk of overfertilisation
Cuttings and seedlings have different needs than mature plants. That is why a standard fertiliser for the vegetative phase is not ideal for cuttings and seedlings, as you risk overfertilisation. CANNA Start eliminates this risk.

Reduces the risk of leaf yellowing
Diluting a growth fertiliser to a lower concentration to make it more suitable for cuttings and seedlings is not a solution. Such a diluted solution then does not contain enough trace (micro) elements. This causes deficiencies, which is certainly not a good basis for an excellent harvest. In order to ultimately harvest strong and healthy plants, they must be vital from the very beginning. That is why CANNA developed CANNA Start with the exact ratio of all nutritional elements for cuttings and seedlings.

For various growing media
CANNA Start is intended for use on various propagation substrates, such as rockwool cubes, coco pellets, jiffy pellets, sowing substrates and most other media. Exceptions are recirculating systems and aeroponic cutting trays.

CANNA Start is ideal for growers who:
- grow from seed
- root their own cuttings
- first pre-grow seedlings or cuttings in small pots

Complete 1-component fertiliser
CANNA Start is a complete single-component nutrient solution, which means it contains all the necessary elements in one bottle (no A and B version is needed).

Perfectly complements popular CANNA fertilisers
CANNA Start fits perfectly with all other CANNA fertilisers. Once the cuttings are transplanted into the final medium, you switch from CANNA Start to CANNA (Vega) nutrition suitable for the medium you are growing in (TERRA, COCO, HYDRO or AQUA).

How to use CANNA Start
- shake the bottle before use
- dosage 1:250 (4 ml/1L)
- EC of CANNA Start dissolved in water ranges between 0.7 - 1.3 mS (= EC of solution + EC of water)
- recommended pH: 5.2 - 6.2

Storage, safety and other information:
- store in a closed container in the dark and protect from frost
- keep out of reach of children
- the bottle is made of polyethylene (contains no PVC or cadmium) and is recyclable
- if the solution comes into contact with skin or eyes, rinse with water
- overfertilisation has a negative effect on the growing medium and plant health
