Can-Lite odour filters with an optimal airflow of 600 m3/h are a special lightweight range of filters from Can Filters, which specialises in filtering unwanted odours using activated carbon. This range is characterised by its low weight, thanks to the lightweight activated carbon (1 l of activated carbon weighs 260 g) and small dimensions.

The service life of the filter filling is approx. 24 months depending on the environment. For the odour filter with activated carbon to work properly, it is important to choose the right type of activated carbon and activation process. Controlled coarseness and high porosity of the activated carbon allow even airflow and capture more than 99% of unwanted odours.

In dusty environments, it is worth vacuuming the pre-filter regularly. High humidity or dustiness reduces the filter's service life.

Calculation for selecting a suitable filter
We calculate the air volume in the room by multiplying the room length (m) by the room width (m) and the ceiling height (m).
For example: A room 4 m long, 3 m wide and with a ceiling height of 2 m => 4 x 3 x 2 = 24 m3
We multiply the resulting air volume by 60 (i.e. the number of minutes per hour), which tells us how much air needs to be cleaned in 1 hour.
We compare the result with the maximum output of the selected filter. If its max. output is higher than our result, the filter is sufficient for the given space.
