Can-Lite odour filters with an optimal air flow of 425 m³/h are a special lightweight range of filters from Can Filters, which specialises in filtering unwanted odours using activated carbon. This range is characterised by low weight, thanks to the lightweight activated carbon (1 l of activated carbon weighs 260 g) and small dimensions. The service life of the filter filling is approx. 24 months depending on the environment. For the effectiveness of an activated carbon odour filter to be correct, it is important to choose the appropriate type of activated carbon and activation process. Controlled coarseness and high porosity of the activated carbon allow even airflow and capture more than 99% of unwanted odours.

The operating air temperature is from 10°C - 80°C and air humidity 0 - 80%.

Supplied including a dust pre-filter made of special filter fabric.

The flange is not included; it needs to be ordered separately. The filter can be used with a 100 mm flange or a 125 mm flange.

Calculation for selecting a suitable filter
We calculate the air volume in the room by multiplying the room length (m) by the room width (m) and the ceiling height (m).
E.g.: A room 4 m long, 3 m wide and with a ceiling height of 2 m => 4 x 3 x 2 = 24 m3
We multiply the resulting air volume by 60 (i.e. the number of minutes per hour), which tells us how much air needs to be purified in 1 hour.
We compare the result with the maximum output of the selected filter. If its max. output is higher than our result, the filter is sufficient for the given space.
