Detailed information

Product detailed description

Revitalise your soil and maximise your yield

Bionova MicroLife is more than just a fertiliser - it is a concentrated dose of life for your substrate. This unique soil improver brings a rich blend of beneficial micro-organisms into soil or coco, creating an optimal environment for the growth of strong and healthy plants. The result is better soil structure, more efficient nutrient uptake and explosive development of the root system, which is directly reflected in higher yields and the overall vitality of your annual plants.

Main product benefits

  • Explosive root development: Supports a massive and healthy root system.
  • Maximum nutrient availability: Micro-organisms make nutrients bound in the soil available.
  • Increased resistance: Protects plants against stress, diseases and root problems.
  • Improved soil structure: Optimises air and water management in the substrate.
  • Higher yields: Increases photosynthetic activity, leading to a richer harvest.
  • 100% natural: Returns life and natural balance to the soil.

What is Bionova MicroLife?

It is a highly concentrated stimulator of soil life in the form of a loose mixture. It is packed with essential soil organisms that naturally enrich the substrate and support its biological activity. This product has been designed to restore and maintain a healthy microbial environment, which is key for growing in soil and coco substrate, both indoors and outdoors.

How does MicroLife work?

After application to the substrate, millions of micro-organisms immediately begin to work. Mycorrhizal fungi colonise the roots and create a symbiotic relationship with them, multiplying the area for water and nutrient uptake many times over. Beneficial bacteria break down organic matter, release nutrients and protect the root zone from pathogens. This interaction leads to the creation of a loose, aerated soil structure with the ideal air-to-water ratio, where plants visibly thrive better.

Rich composition for maximum effect

The secret of MicroLife's effectiveness lies in its complex and carefully balanced composition.

  • Organic blend: Bone meal, cocoa pellets, lime, clay minerals (bentonite), compost and seaweed (Ascophyllum Nodosum).
  • Mycorrhizal fungi (Endo and Ecto): Glomus intraradices, G. deserticola, G. mosseae, G. brasillianum, G. aggregatum, G. clarum, G. monosporus, G. etunicatum; Rhizopogon amylopogon, R. villosuli, R. fulvigleba, R. luteolus; Gigaspora margarita; Pisolithus tinctorius; Laccaria bicolor, L. laccata; Sceloderma citrinum, S. cepa.
  • Bacteria of the Bacillus genus: B. licheniformis, B. subtilis, B. pasteurii, B. laevolacticus, B. amyloliquefaciens, B. azotofixans.
  • Other beneficial organisms: Antagonistic fungi (Penicillium, Trichoderma, Aspergillus), actinomycetes (Streptomyces) and nitrogen-fixing bacteria (Azotobacter).
  • Additional substances: The amino acid glycerine and vitamins C, B1 and E for further plant support.

Benefits of using MicroLife

  • Higher and better-quality yields: Thanks to increased photosynthetic activity and better nutrient uptake, you will achieve a richer harvest, which you will appreciate especially when growing under artificial lighting.
  • Resistance to stress: Plants cope better with adverse conditions such as drought, heat or transplant shock.
  • Disease prevention: Beneficial organisms actively protect the root system from attack by harmful pathogens and fungal diseases.
  • Soil revitalisation: Ideal for revitalising exhausted or repeatedly used substrate.

Instructions for use and dosage

The product is mixable with all common fertilisers and supplements. Use it from the first week of growth until harvest.

  • Mixing with substrate: Mix 10-20 g of the product with 10 litres of soil or coco. For larger volumes, use 1-2 kg per 1 m3 of substrate. When growing outdoors, work in 1 kg per 20 m2 of area.
  • Preparing organic tea: Stir 10 g into 1 litre of non-chlorinated water. Aerate the mixture intensively for 2-6 hours. Apply to the roots within 2 hours after switching off aeration.
  • Seed treatment: Crush the product into a fine powder and thoroughly coat lightly moistened seeds in it.
  • Treatment of cuttings and seedlings: Before transplanting, apply the powder directly to the root ball. This will support rapid rooting and minimise stress.

For complete nutrition, supplement MicroLife with the main fertiliser Soil Supermix or the substrate Bio Soilmix 50l and, in bloom, the booster PK 13-14.

Frequently asked questions

How should I dose MicroLife into the substrate?

10-20 g per 10 litres of soil or coco, or 1-2 kg per 1 m3 of substrate. When growing outdoors, work in 1 kg per 20 m2 of area.

Can I use MicroLife on seeds or cuttings too?

Yes - coat moistened seeds with fine MicroLife powder, and for cuttings and seedlings apply the powder directly to the root ball before transplanting for faster rooting.

Is MicroLife suitable for recycling used soil?

Yes, it is ideal for revitalising exhausted or repeatedly used substrate thanks to the included mycorrhizal fungi and Bacillus bacteria.
