Biobizz - Dosage chart

How should Biobizz fertilisers be dosed? Here is a proven method!

  • Organic Biobizz fertilisers consist of products whose synergistic combination in the optimal amount provides perfect nutrition for your plants.
  • When using Biobizz fertilisers, we distinguish two basic development phases - growth and bloom, to which we adapt both the fertiliser dose and the ideal lighting period.
  • We recommend combining Biobizz fertilisers with a high-quality substrate of the same brand. Fertiliser dosing varies depending on whether you choose the slightly pre-fertilised Lightmix or the classic ALL-MIX. For easy orientation, the colour of the substrate packaging is also reflected in the table in the form of a grey and black marker next to each fertiliser.
  • The amount of fertiliser, or recommended dose, is always stated for mixing in 1 litre of water.
  • In addition to the fertilisers graphically shown from this brand, we also recommend Biobizz Fish Mix for higher yields. This liquid fertiliser is added throughout the entire growing cycle to the watering solution intended for outdoor-grown plants, as its composition significantly improves the microbial life of the soil and thus the development of the plant. Outdoor growers sometimes even use it during the vegetative phase instead of the classic growth fertiliser Bio Grow. This product is not only added to the watering solution, but may also be applied as a foliar spray, three times a week until the second week of flowering, in an amount of 1 or 2 ml per 1 litre of water.
  • Biobizz Alg-A-Mic increases plants' resistance to stress and is most commonly used during transplanting. In addition to the dosage stated in the table, you can also apply this fertiliser as a spray, again in the same amount as Fish Mix.
  • Fertiliser dosing according to the table and the manufacturer's instructions minimises the risk of over-fertilisation. Nevertheless, we recommend continuously checking how the plants are doing during the growing cycle, as each of them has its own individual needs.
  • The stated dosage applies equally to all growing methods.
  • Do not forget that in the last week of the growing cycle it is important to carry out the so-called flush. At this stage, do not add any of the classic fertilisers to the water. This will result in exceptionally healthy fruits with excellent flavour.

Our TIP: For better watering and improved nutrient management, it is worth using filters and reverse osmosis units Growmax.

When to add and when to reduce?

  • You can temporarily reduce the intensity of fertilisation if you notice typical symptoms associated with an excess of nutrients. These are most often indicated by yellowing leaves, spots on their edges, or a white surface on the substrate.
  • If you notice that, on the contrary, the plant is lacking nutrients, it is advisable to start fertilising a little more. If the plant is growing unhealthily slowly and its leaves are smaller than is usual for the species, it is probably undernourished. In such a case, you can try increasing the intensity of fertilisation and observe whether this has a positive effect on the plant and whether it begins to thrive better.

GROWTH PHASE

  • During this phase, give the plants 18 hours of light.
  • This phase lasts approximately 2 weeks.
  1. WEEK
  • Apply the root stimulator ROOT-JUICE for maximum development of the young plant's root system, in an amount of 4 ml per litre of water.
  • During the first week, also add BIO-HEAVEN to the watering solution. Apply in an amount of 2 ml. This unique organic fertiliser provides your plants with comprehensive care from seed to harvest.
  • The beneficial microorganisms from the product MICROBES support the proper development of the root system - 0.4 g/l is sufficient.
  • To improve defence and accelerate growth, add ACTI-VERA in an amount of 2 ml.
  1. WEEK
  • Starting from the second week, you can switch to the basic growth fertiliser BIO-GROW or FISH-MIX. WARNING! Here, the above-mentioned rule of double dosing according to the nutrient content in the substrate (black or grey marker) also applies. If you use LIGHT-MIX, you need to add a double dose (2 ml/l) of growth fertiliser to the watering solution compared with the combination with ALL-MIX substrate.
  • If you use a less pre-fertilised substrate, it is recommended to add 1 ml of ALG-A-MIC.
  • BIO-HEAVEN, MICROBES and ACTI-VERA are dosed in the same way.

BLOOM PHASE

  • During this phase, the plants need 12 hours of light per day.
  • This phase usually begins in the 3rd week and ends in the 12th week, when it is time to harvest.
  1. - 10. WEEK
  • Depending on the substrate you use, from the third week of the growing cycle you can easily check the correct dose of bloom fertiliser BIO-BLOOM as well as growth fertiliser BIO-GROW or FISH-MIX, which you should continue to add to the watering solution in the specified amount. These two products will work synergistically as the basic nutrition until the end of the tenth week.
  • Gradually increase the dosage of BIO-HEAVEN according to the values in the table.
  • The dose of ACTI-VERA also increases, while the dose of MICROBES remains the same.
  • According to the values in the table, you will also gradually increase the dosage of the other pair of products that the manufacturer recommends adding to the watering solution from the third week of the growing cycle, namely: ALG-A-MIC (in a less pre-fertilised substrate) + TOP-MAX. We have already introduced the first of the pair of organic fertilisers above. Add TOP-MAX to the watering solution so that the plants produce really large flowers.
  1. WEEK
  • The eleventh week is marked by flushing. Water the almost mature plants with clean water only.
  1. WEEK
  • It is time to harvest! If you have followed the recommended dosage of Biobizz products, a rich harvest surely awaits you.
