Are you looking for a gentle and natural fertiliser for young plants? Fish-Mix is a liquid organic fertiliser from the Netherlands that combines fish emulsion from the North Sea with extract from Dutch sugar beet. This combination speeds up the growth of beneficial organisms in the substrate and is suitable for all outdoor and indoor plants from the first growth stage right through to harvest.

How to use Fish-Mix

Apply the fertiliser 1-2x a week from the time the plant is about 2 weeks old, directly into the substrate, or spray it on the leaves during vegetative growth. When combined with the All-Mix substrate, dose Fish-Mix at 1 ml per litre of water; with Light-Mix, increase the dose to 2-4 ml per litre of water. Thanks to the fish emulsion, the concentrate naturally smells of fish. After dilution with water, the smell weakens and, with sufficient ventilation, Fish-Mix can also be used for indoor cultivation.

What to combine Fish-Mix with

Do not combine Fish-Mix with Bio-Grow - both products are growth promoters and using them together would flood the substrate with nitrogen. As the main source of nutrients, choose either Bio-Grow together with Bio-Bloom, or Fish-Mix together with Bio-Bloom. As supporting additives, you can then add Alg-A-Mic and Top-Max.

Frequently asked questions

How often and at what dose should I use Fish-Mix so I do not overfertilise the plants?

Apply 1-2x a week from the moment the plant is about 2 weeks old. When combined with the All-Mix substrate, dose 1 ml per litre of water; with Light-Mix, 2-4 ml per litre of water. Exact doses for each week can be found in the Biobizz dosing tables.

Can I combine Fish-Mix with Bio-Grow?

No. Both products are nitrogen growth promoters and using them together would overload the substrate with nitrogen. Choose one of them and follow the flowering stage with Bio-Bloom, or supplement with Alg-A-Mic or Top-Max.

Does the smell matter when growing in a room?

Due to the fish emulsion, the concentrate naturally smells; after dilution with water, the smell weakens. For indoor cultivation, therefore, ensure sufficient ventilation.
