For large systems, a sufficient water supply and as few trips to the tank as possible are key. AutoPot Flexitank 400 L is a large-volume, foldable tank for watering or rainwater for extensive AutoPot systems. Despite its large volume, it can be assembled without tools and folded away after the season.

What is Flexitank

AutoPot Flexitank is a foldable reservoir for watering or rainwater for AutoPot self-watering systems. You can assemble it within a few minutes and without tools, and fold it away just as easily – making it easy to store and transport. The tank is made of durable plastic reinforced with strips inserted into the seams; it has a drain valve compatible with standard hoses at the bottom and a closable zippered lid at the top, which protects the water from light and impurities and thus limits algae growth.

How Flexitank works with the AutoPot system

Flexitank is the reservoir for the entire system. Place the filled tank on a level, smooth surface so that the plastic is not damaged, and at least 150 mm above the highest AQUAvalve – gravity itself will then take care of watering distribution, without a pump, electricity or timer. You can connect Flexitank directly to the 16 mm distribution line of the 1Pot, 1Pot XL, Easy2Grow and tray systems, and to the 9 mm distribution line with AQUAvalve5 using a 16–9 mm reducer. Monitor the water level and refill the tank when it drops to approximately 1/3; never let it dry out completely.

Maintenance and warranty

Store the tank clean and dry. At the end of the season, rinse it out, especially if you have added fertilisers to the watering – this will limit deposits and algae growth. Keep the zippered lid closed to prevent impurities and light from entering the solution. The manufacturer provides a one-year warranty against manufacturing defects.

Connection and accessories

A FlexiTank tap is suitable for closing the outlet, while a quick assembly connector and assembly blanking plug can be used to connect the distribution line. How high should the tank be positioned?
