Are you growing on a large scale and need a maximum supply of nutrient solution? AutoPot Flexitank 1000 l is the largest foldable tank in the range, designed for large-scale and commercial AutoPot grow rooms. It assembles without tools and still holds a full cubic metre of nutrient solution.

What is Flexitank

AutoPot Flexitank is a foldable reservoir for nutrient solution or rainwater for AutoPot self-watering systems. You can assemble it in a few minutes and without tools, and just as easily fold it away again - which makes it easy to store and transport. The tank is made of durable plastic reinforced with strips inserted into the seams, has a drain valve at the bottom compatible with standard hoses, and a lockable zip lid at the top that protects the water from light and dirt, thereby limiting algae growth.

How Flexitank works with the AutoPot system

Flexitank is the reservoir for the entire setup. Place the filled tank on a level and smooth surface so the plastic is not damaged, and at least 150 mm above the highest AQUAvalve valve - distribution of the nutrient solution is then handled by gravity alone, without a pump, electricity or a timer. You can connect Flexitank directly to the 16 mm distribution for 1Pot, 1Pot XL, Easy2Grow and tray systems, and to the 9 mm distribution with AQUAvalve5 via a 16-9 mm reducer. Monitor the level and top up when it drops to around 1/3; never let it dry out completely.

For what size setup

The 1000 l capacity is intended for large-scale and commercial grow rooms that exceed standard kits of over 100 pots. Run the distribution through 16 mm hose and, if needed, chain multiple branches. Maintenance and warranty

Store the tank clean and dry. At the end of the season, rinse it out, especially if you have added fertilisers to the nutrient solution - this will reduce deposits and algae growth. Keep the zip lid closed so that dirt and light cannot get into the solution.

Frequently asked questions

How high should the tank stand?

At least 150 mm above the highest AQUAvalve valve. This slope ensures that the nutrient solution flows into the trays by gravity only, without a pump or electricity.

When should the tank be topped up?

As soon as the level drops to roughly one third of the capacity. Never let the tank dry out completely, so that air is not drawn into the distribution.
