Aqua Master Tools E50 PRO 2.0 is a pocket EC metre for situations where you want to quickly check the strength of the nutrient solution without combined pH measurement. It is suitable for routine checks of irrigation water, hydroponics and other solutions where you monitor electrical conductivity and temperature.
What the E50 PRO 2.0 measures
- EC in the range 0.00 to 19.99 mS/cm,
- solution temperature in the range 0 to 50 °C,
- EC resolution 0.01 or 0.1 mS/cm depending on the setting.
The device has automatic temperature compensation in the range 0 to 50 °C, waterproof IP67 protection and floats on the surface. It switches off automatically after eight minutes of inactivity.
Calibration and care
The E50 PRO 2.0 comes factory calibrated, so you can measure conductivity straight out of the box; manual calibration then depends on the condition of the electrode. The EC part is calibrated manually using EC calibration solution. For routine checks of nutrient solution, use the verified Aqua Master Tools EC 1.413 calibration solution. The electrode is replaceable, so when it wears out you only replace it and the metre body continues to serve.

When to choose the E50 PRO 2.0
Choose it if you mainly need EC and temperature. If you want to measure PPM and TDS in one pen as well, the E60 PRO 2.0 will be more practical; for simultaneous pH and EC measurement, choose a combined pH/EC metre.
