Aqua Master Tools EC 3.0 calibration solution is used to set up and check EC metres. It is suitable as a mid-range standard when you do not want to verify the metre only at the low EC 1.413 value.

What it is used for

The solution is intended for EC metres and combined pH/EC devices that support calibration or verification at the 3.0 EC value. Conductivity is its only role - a pH metre cannot be set with it; for that, pH 4 and pH 7 solutions are used.

How to handle the solution

Pour only as much as you need for calibration into a clean container, and close the bottle immediately. Before inserting the electrode into it, rinse it with clean water so it does not carry residues of nutrient solution from the last measurement. Then store the bottle at 15 to 25 °C and out of direct sunlight; Aqua Master Tools recommends a cool and dark place for calibration solutions.

Discard the poured portion after calibration; it does not belong back in the bottle.
