How should Advanced Nutrients fertilisers be dosed? Here is a proven method!

Apply base fertilisers in both the flowering and growth phases at a rate of 4 ml/l.
The selection of supplementary fertilisers from the Canadian manufacturer specialising in hydroponics primarily takes into account the level of experience of each grower. That is why the dosing tables for the flowering phase are also graded for all its lengths into individual levels (HOBBYIST, EXPERT GROWER, PROFESSIONAL GROWER, GRAND MASTER GROWER)
However, dosing supplementary fertilisers is just as easy as in the case of base nutrition. The dose is always equal to 2 ml. You simply need to keep track of when a specific product belongs in the watering solution and when it does not. The tables and the detailed breakdown below will help you.
In the case of supplementary fertilisers, the growth phase is divided into 4 weeks. During this period, only two supplementary fertilisers are used, namely B-52 and the premium root stimulator Voodoo Juice.
The flowering phase already requires more supplements, the application of which depends on the specific type of plant and thus the given flowering duration, which may be 6 (coloured tables), 7, 8, 9 or 10 weeks (below). According to the flowering duration, select the relevant table.
Do not forget that in the last week of the growing cycle it is important to carry out the so-called flush, or flushing. At this stage, do not add any of the standard fertilisers to the water. Flushing is commonly carried out with plain water, but Advanced Nutrients has its own special supplement for the flushing phase, Flawless Finish. With it, you will achieve exceptionally healthy fruits with excellent taste, as no residues of salts or other undesirable substances will remain in the crop. Your harvest will immediately have a higher value.
Dosing fertiliser according to the table and the manufacturer’s instructions minimises the risk of overfertilisation. Nevertheless, we recommend continuously checking how the plants are doing throughout the growing cycle, as each of them has its own individual needs.

When to add and when to reduce?

You can reduce the intensity of fertilisation for a while if you notice typical symptoms associated with an excess of nutrients. This is most often indicated by yellowing leaves, spots on their edges, or a white surface on the substrate.
If you notice that, on the contrary, the plant has a lack of nutrients, it is advisable to start fertilising a little more. If the plant is growing unhealthily slowly and its leaves are smaller than is usual for the given species, it may probably be undernourished. In such a case, you can try increasing the intensity of fertilisation and observe whether this has a positive effect on the plant and it begins to thrive better.

HOBBYIST LEVEL (ideal dosing for enthusiastic beginners)

6-week flowering phase

Week 1: Use only VooDoo Juice.
Week 2: Add the flowering stimulator Big Bud to VooDoo Juice in the watering solution.
Weeks 3 and 4: Continue applying Big Bud and add only B-52 to it.
Weeks 5 and 6: Use B-52 and Overdrive.
Flush with plain water in the last week.

7+ week flowering phase

If the flowering phase lasts 7 weeks, use Big Bud in combination with B-52 from week 3 to week 5. If it lasts one week longer, use the same product combination from week 3 to week 6, and so on. This means that a 10-week flowering phase differs from a 6-week one in dosing only in that Big Bud + B52 are applied from week 3 until week 8 of flowering.
The first two weeks of the growing cycle and the last two weeks before flushing use supplementary fertilisers in the same way as in the 6-week flowering phase.

EXPERT GROWER LEVEL (ideal dosing for those who already have some experience with hydroponic plant cultivation)

6-week flowering phase

Weeks 1 and 2: Combine Piranha + Bud Candy.
Weeks 3 to 6: In addition, apply only Bud Candy.
Flush with water and Flawless Finish in the last week.

7+ week flowering phase

If the flowering phase lasts 7 weeks or longer, use Bud Candy until its end.

PROFESSIONAL GROWER LEVEL (ideal dosing for seasoned growers)

6-week flowering phase

Weeks 1 and 2: Combine the bioactive shield Tarantula + Sensizym.
Weeks 3 to 6: Replace Tarantula with the bio-activator Nirvana and apply it in combination with the unique product Sensizym until the end of the growing cycle.
Flush with plain water in the last week.

7+ week flowering phase

If the flowering phase lasts 7 weeks, use the Nirvana + Sensizym combination one week longer, and so on. This means that a 10-week flowering phase differs from a 6-week one in dosing only in that Nirvana + Sensizym are applied from week 3 until week 10 of flowering.

GRAND MASTER GROWER LEVEL (ideal dosing for the most experienced)

6-week flowering phase

Weeks 1 and 2: Combine Bud Ignitor + Rhino Skin + Bud Factor X.
Weeks 3 to 6: Omit Bud Ignitor.
Flush with plain water in the last week.

7+ week flowering phase

If the flowering phase lasts 7 weeks, use the combination of Rhino Skin + Bud Factor X one week longer, and so on. This means that a 10-week flowering phase differs from a 6-week one in dosing only in that Rhino Skin + Bud Factor X are applied from week 3 until week 10 of flowering.
