Advanced Nutrients Cultivator Base

Product detailed description
Cultivator Base provides plants with a stable supply of nitrogen and calcium from the first watering right through to harvest. It is the powder component of the Cultivator range from Advanced Nutrients with an NPK ratio of 14-0-0, which you mix together with the Grow and Bloom components - complete nutrition is only created when all three parts are combined.
Why powder and why it pays off
With powder, you pay for nutrients, not for water in the canister. One pack lets you mix large volumes of feed solution, so per litre of solution Cultivator ranks among the most economical bases - that is exactly why commercial growing operations choose it. In addition to nitrogen, Base supplies 17% calcium and chelated iron (0.32%). The range is designed for hydroponics, coco and soil and handles all continuous systems: drip irrigation, NFT, flood and drain and DWC.
Dosing and use
Always dissolve the powder in a separate tank first; never mix the components in dry form. Combine Base with the Grow and Bloom components according to the stage and adjust the EC to the plants' requirements. Mix the concentrates in RO or distilled water. In hydroponics, prepare fresh feed solution every week; in coco, mix it daily.
Where Base fits in the Advanced Nutrients range
Use Base together with Cultivator Grow for growth and Cultivator Bloom for flowering. The most convenient option is to buy the complete Cultivator Grow-Bloom-Base set straight away. Roots at the start are supported by Voodoo Juice.

Frequently asked questions
Can I use Cultivator Base on its own?
No. Base on its own mainly supplies nitrogen (14%) and calcium (17%) plus chelated iron, and complete nutrition is only achieved in combination with the Grow and Bloom components, which add phosphorus and potassium according to the stage. Using a single component leads to deficiencies, so always mix it with the rest of the Cultivator range.
Why powder instead of liquid fertiliser?
Powder does not contain water, so one pack lets you mix significantly more feed solution and saves on transport and storage. That is the main reason commercial growing operations choose Cultivator. It only requires proper dissolving in a separate tank before adding it to the feed solution.
Is Cultivator suitable for coco?
Yes, the Cultivator range is intended for hydroponics, coco and soil. Bear in mind that coco binds calcium and magnesium, so monitor the plants' condition and supplement CalMag if necessary. Mix the feed solution in coco fresh every day.
Exact dosing for individual ranges can be found in the Advanced Nutrients dosing table.
