AC Infinity Noise Reduction Clamp, Duct Coupler with Stainless Steel Clamps, 200 mm

Product detailed description

Airtight connection for larger 200 mm ventilation systems

In larger systems with higher airflow, vibrations from the fan can easily be transmitted further through the ducting. The AC Infinity Noise Reduction Clamp RCA8 is a rubber coupler with a diameter of 8" (20.3 cm), which fits over fan, filter or duct ports and creates an airtight connection at the joint while also absorbing sound waves and vibrations.

Material and fastening

The coupler is made of NBR grade 65A nitrile rubber, with a matt black colour and a flexible, durable construction. It stretches easily over ports of a larger diameter. It is tightened with two adjustable stainless steel hose clamps with a worm-drive lock; the screw head is both Phillips and flat.

200 mm system

Use the coupler to connect ducting, carbon filters, inline fans, grilles and dampers with a diameter of 8" – in a grow room or in an HVAC system with higher airflow. Combine it with components of the same diameter:

• AC Infinity CLOUDLINE S8 – 200 mm inline fan.
• AC Infinity CLOUDLINE T8 – fan with a VPD controller included.
• DCF8 Carbon Filter – odour filter of the same diameter.
• 200 mm Flexible Four-Layer Ducting – connects the filter to the fan.
• DCA8-2 Replacement Stainless Steel Clamps – separate clamps without a rubber coupler for additional connections.

Frequently asked questions

Does the RCA8 reduce airflow noise throughout the entire duct run?
No, the coupler dampens vibrations and ensures airtightness only at the specific joint, not along the entire length of the ducting.

Are the clamps included?
Yes, two adjustable stainless steel hose clamps with a worm-drive lock.

What diameter is the RCA8 suitable for?
Components with a diameter of 8" (20.3 cm).
