16 mm Components
Are you building or expanding a 16 mm water distribution system for drip irrigation or a self-watering system? Here you will find all fittings - connectors, T-pieces, elbows, reducers, valves and filters, so you can assemble the route exactly according to your plot.
Not sure which type of connector (push-fit or compression) suits your hose? Write to us at info@higarden.cz and we will plan the distribution together.

16 mm Components are fittings and accessories for water distribution using hose with an outer diameter of 16 mm - the most common size for drip irrigation and self-watering systems. From individual parts, you can assemble a route of any shape, whether you are watering a few pots or an entire bed.
Which fittings will you need
The distribution is created by connecting straight sections of hose with fittings. Straight connectors extend the route, elbows turn it, T-pieces branch it and end caps close it off. For connection to a barrel, tank or tap, threaded connectors and tank fittings are used.
- Connectors, elbows and T-pieces - straight, L-shaped and T-shaped for routing and branching the line; push-fit and compression (CONNECTO).
- Reducers and branch connectors - transition from 16 mm to 6 mm drip lines and other sizes.
- Threaded connectors and tank fittings - connection to a barrel, tank, tap or filter.
- Valves and taps - control and non-return valves for regulating the flow of individual branches.
- Filters - inline and tubular filters protect nozzles and drippers against clogging.
Push-fit versus compression
Push-fit fittings simply slide onto the hose - quick installation for temporary and seasonal systems. Compression connectors (CONNECTO) grip the hose more firmly and hold better under pressure. Brand systems such as AutoPot also include their own 16 mm parts (connectors, filters, taps, barrel inlet), which fit together precisely.
You can also find components in other sizes - see 20 mm Components and 25 mm Components for larger systems, separate reducers, connectors and end caps or hoses.
Frequently asked questions
Which hose are 16 mm components for?
For distribution PE hose with an outer diameter of 16 mm, which is the most common size for drip and micro-irrigation.
What is the difference between a push-fit and a compression connector?
A push-fit one slides onto the hose and is quick to install; a compression one grips it more firmly and holds better under higher pressure.
Do I need a filter in the system?
We recommend it - an inline filter catches dirt and protects drippers and nozzles from clogging, which extends the life of the entire system.
