The 50x50x120 cm grow tent URBANBOX 50 is a compact choice for home growers who want one to two plants or herbs in an enclosed, light-tight space. The 50x50 cm footprint (0.25 m2) gives roots and leaves more room than the smallest model, while the tent still fits neatly into a corner of the room.
Stable frame and light-tight cover
Strength is provided by a frame of 16 mm steel poles (wall thickness 0.8 mm) set in reinforced plastic corners - the tent does not wobble even with equipment suspended, and the frame supports equipment with a load capacity of 20 kg. The outer 600D Oxford fabric is tear-resistant, and the double stitching together with robust zips ensures that daylight does not penetrate inside. The Mylar reflective film inside sends light back to the plants and increases the use of your lamp.
Thoughtful openings and easy maintenance
The removable waterproof base protects the floor in the event of overwatering, and after the cycle you can simply take it out and wash it. Fresh air intake is provided by a passive opening 32x18 cm with an insect screen. For extraction and cabling, the 50 has 3 adjustable 178 mm socks and 1 75 mm cable sock; you can hang the fan with filter on two crossbars and straps.

On an area of 50x50 cm (0.25 m2), you can comfortably grow one larger plant or two smaller ones, or several clumps of herbs. The 120 cm height is suitable for lower, controlled growing and raising seedlings. If you want to let plants grow taller, choose a higher model in the range.
What do I need to buy separately?
The tent itself does not include lighting or ventilation. For the 50, a smaller LED panel from the lighting category is suitable, an extraction fan for air exchange, and when dealing with odour a carbon filter of the same diameter as the fan and ducting.
Is it suitable for a living room space?
Yes. The light-tight 600D Oxford cover with double stitching and industrial zips keeps light inside, so the lamp does not disturb the surroundings and daylight does not penetrate inside. The openings are tightened with socks. The tent therefore fits discreetly into a flat or study.
