The 40x40x120 cm grow tent URBANBOX 40 is the smallest model in the range and is suitable for growers who want a few plants or herbs at home without taking up much space. With a footprint of 40x40 cm (0.16 m2), you get a fully enclosed, light-tight environment that also fits into a corner of the room.

A sturdy construction that does not wobble

The tent remains stable even with a light and filter hanging inside - the frame consists of 16 mm steel poles with a wall thickness of 0.8 mm, which fit into reinforced plastic corners. The frame has a load capacity of 20 kg, so it easily supports a hanging light and extract fan. The 600D Oxford fabric cover resists tearing and, thanks to double stitching and industrial zips, no light gets in. The interior is covered with Mylar reflective film, so the light is distributed evenly to the plants and you make better use of the lamp.

Cleaning is done in no time - the base is removable and waterproof, protects the floor from water leakage and can be rinsed easily. Fresh air is brought in by a passive intake opening of 32x18 cm with an insect mesh. For extraction and cables, the tent has 3 adjustable drawstring socks 150 mm and 1 cable sock 75 mm; you hang the fan with filter on the cross bars and two straps.

What light and ventilation should I buy separately?

The tent is standalone and does not include light or ventilation. For the 40x40 cm size, a smaller LED panel from the lighting category is suitable, and for air exchange a quiet extract fan. If you are also dealing with odour, add a carbon filter of the appropriate diameter.

Is the tent really light-tight?

Yes. The 600D Oxford fabric cover has double stitching and industrial zips that prevent both leakage and penetration of light. The ventilation and cable openings can be tightened with socks, so outside light does not shine in and the light from the lamp does not escape. You can therefore grow without worry even in a living room.
