NovaMax fertiliser from Terra Aquatica (formerly known as FloraNova from General Hydroponics) is one of the most concentrated fertilisers on the market. Both the Grow component for growth and the Bloom component for flowering contain a much higher nutrient ratio than is usual in the industry. Even a very small amount of fertiliser can work wonders, so it must be handled very carefully.
The main idea was to create a fertiliser that already contains everything a plant needs - and it succeeded. With NovaMax fertilisers, you will not need any CalMag, PK or trace element source to keep plants healthy. It is recommended to add only stimulants such as FinalPart - however, this is not necessary for plant health, as it speeds up ripening and improves harvest quality.
Growers from all over the world appreciate Terra Aquatica fertilisers because they can be used everywhere - in a standard soil growing medium as well as in coconut coir. Is NovaMax a one-component or two-component fertiliser?
It is a two-component mineral nutrition - NovaMax Grow for the growth phase and NovaMax Bloom for the flowering phase. Depending on the growing stage, you choose which component to use and in what ratio.
Do I still need CalMag or PK with NovaMax?
No. The formula is designed as complete - it also contains calcium, magnesium and trace elements, so you do not need a separate CalMag or PK supplement.
Why is careful dosing recommended?
NovaMax is among the most concentrated fertilisers on the market, so even a small amount will significantly raise the EC of the solution. Add it gradually and monitor conductivity so you do not overfeed the plants.
Is NovaMax suitable for soil and coco too?
Yes, it works in soil growing media and in coco, but it performs best in hydroponic systems, for which the range was primarily developed.
