Propagators are tiny grow boxes intended for plants that are only at the beginning of their life cycle. They allow the grower to create and maintain perfect conditions for germination, rooting and initial growth. Plants in them are not exposed to external influences, temperature fluctuations, low humidity or pests, which speeds up their development and improves their chance of growing into mature beauties that will bring you an enviable harvest.
Propagators are also used by microgreens growers.
In a larger propagator with multiple tiers, you can grow up to 1,440 plants!
For the propagator, we recommend buying a LED light for seedlings, temperature and humidity metre or even a heating mat.

What size Probox propagator should you choose?
The low S (60x40x40 cm) and M (80x60x40 cm) models are suitable for a windowsill or a table for a few dozen seedlings and cuttings. The tall L and XL versions (200 cm) have up to five tiers and can handle hundreds to more than a thousand plants - they are chosen by growers who pre-grow on a large scale.
How does a propagator differ from a regular grow tent?
A propagator maintains the high humidity and stable temperature needed for germination and rooting, when plants are most vulnerable. It is lower and more enclosed than a full-size tent, which makes it easier to maintain a humid microclimate in a small space.
What do I need in a propagator besides the tent itself?
The basics are a low-power LED light for seedlings, a temperature and humidity metre to monitor conditions, and in cooler spaces a heating mat that speeds up rooting. You can get everything together in pre-growing sets.
What is the inner Mylar layer for?
The inner Mylar film with 97% reflectivity reflects light back to the plants, so young seedlings get even lighting even from a small light and stretch less.
