Plagron Hydro Roots is a mineral root-strengthening additive containing phosphorus and boron. Both ingredients have their own specific function and ensure increased nutrient uptake. It supports root initiation and growth, increases the number of root branches (secondary roots) and thickens root hairs.

Why Hydro Roots

• Purely mineral composition: it does not contain organic elements, so it is also suitable for hydroponic systems.
• Rapid root development: phosphorus increases root length and improves the division and enlargement of root cells.
• Higher nutrient absorption: boron increases the activity of enzymatic systems.
• Better root architecture: thanks to a well-developed root system, it improves nutrient and water uptake.

Difference between Hydro Roots and Power Roots

The main difference is that Power Roots contains organic elements and is therefore less suitable for use in an irrigation system. Hydro Roots was therefore developed, which is purely mineral, so it will not cause any problems in your (circulation) irrigation system. Power Roots is thus more suitable for manual irrigation and Hydro Roots for system irrigation. If you still want to continue using Power Roots, do not forget to clean your system thoroughly.

Recommended combinations

We recommend using it with Hydro A+B, Green Sensation and Power Buds. However, all additives from the UNIVERSAL range can be combined with each other without restriction.

Dosage and use

Shake well before use and add 1 ml per 1 l of water. Use this solution with every watering until the fourth week of the flowering phase for plants with a short cycle. Hydro Roots is a mineral fertiliser specially developed for plant roots in a hydroponic system.
