Bluelab ORP Metre measures the oxidation-reduction (ORP) potential of a solution in mV. ORP is one of the parameters that growers monitor in hydroponics and irrigation water quality, similar to pH or EC. Like the EC Truncheon, the ORP Metre requires no calibration - just take it and measure.

Why it pays off

The ORP Metre does not require any probe calibration, so it is ready for immediate use and eliminates regular maintenance with calibration solutions. The clear backlit display provides a quick and readable measurement even in the dim light of the grow room. The probe is replaceable (unlike sealed metres), so when it reaches the end of its life, you replace only the probe, not the entire device. The manufacturer offers a five-year warranty on the device itself - it is a reliable tool for the long term.

Probe care

Keep the replaceable ORP probe hydrated in KCl storage solution and do not let it dry out - this will extend its lifespan and accuracy. Additional Bluelab KCl storage solution can be purchased separately.
