Houseplants live in small pots, so they quickly exhaust the available nutrients and water. Hesi HousePlant Elixir is part of the Hesi fertilisers range and, as a complete fertiliser in one bottle, contains everything needed for healthy growth and flowering - regardless of where your plant comes from.

Composition and NPK

Hesi HousePlant Elixir has an NPK ratio of 4-2-3 and a low salt content, which is gentle on roots in a small substrate volume. It also contains magnesium, calcium and chelated trace elements, supplemented with vitamins, amino acids and other vital substances that keep a small pot in a complete and continuously functional condition.

It is an all-in-one product - therefore do not combine HousePlant Elixir with other basic Hesi fertilisers, as it already contains all the nutrition needed.

Dosage and fertilising programme

Fertilise only during the growth and flowering period; the less light the plant receives, the less fertiliser it needs.

Slow-growing plants: 2 ml per 1 l of water
Fast-growing plants: 3-5 ml per 1 l of water
Foliar spray: 1 ml per 1 l of water

Apply regularly, 1-4x a month. Because fast-growing plants take up more water, they automatically receive more fertiliser as well. If you water with soft, demineralised or RO water, you can adjust it before fertilising with Hesi CalMag.

We do not recommend it; this is a complete all-in-one nutrient solution, and another basic fertiliser would only duplicate it unnecessarily.

How often should I fertilise houseplants?
Usually 1-4x a month, depending on the plant's growth rate and the amount of light it receives.
