    GROTEK - Dosage chart

    How should Grotek fertilisers be dosed? Here is a proven procedure!

    • The liquid Grotek fertilisers in our range are suitable for every growing method (including hydroponics) and for any substrate.
    • Some powdered products are not water-soluble, so they cannot be used for hydroponics (more information can be found with the individual products)
    • Dose Grotek fertilisers according to the table, taking into account the developmental stage the plant is in.
    • If you cannot find a particular supplement in the tables, dose it according to the information on the packaging
    • The values in the tables are either in millilitres per US gallon (1 gal ≐ 3.8 l) or in millilitres per litre.
    • Do not forget that in the final week of the growing cycle it is important to carry out the so-called flush. At this stage, do not add any of the standard fertilisers to the water. Flushing is commonly carried out with clean water, but Grotek has its own special Final Flush range for the flushing stage. With these products, you will achieve exceptionally healthy fruits with excellent flavour, because no residues of salts or other undesirable substances will remain in the crop. And above all, when it comes to flushing, Grotek has no competition in terms of selection - you can give the harvest a hint of blueberry, green apple and even Pina Colada. It is up to you, and there are plenty of options for what kind of hint you can give your crop with Final Flush in our e-shop!
    • The growth phase begins immediately after the plant has rooted. The dosing tables divide it into four smaller stages, namely:
      • Seedlings: germinated seeds and young cuttings.
      • Transplanting: after transplanting, the plants need to exert themselves less so that they have enough strength for rapid growth.
      • Growth: period of intensive growth
      • Pre-flowering stage: transitional stage when the plant is already preparing to flower
    • Once the growth phase ends, move on to supporting flowering. In the tables, the flowering stage is divided into 7 weeks. The eighth week is reserved for flushing.
    • We recommend regularly measuring EC of the nutrient solution and keeping it at the specified value. The recommended EC values are given a separate line in each table.
    • Dosing fertiliser according to the table and the manufacturer’s instructions minimises the risk of over-fertilisation. Nevertheless, we recommend continuously checking how the plants are doing throughout the growing cycle, because each has its own individual needs.
    • Our TIP: For better watering and improved nutrient management, it is worth using filters and reverse osmosis units from Growmax.

    When to add and when to reduce?

    • You can reduce the intensity of fertilisation for a while if you notice typical symptoms associated with an excess of nutrients. These are most often indicated by yellowing leaves, spots on their edges, or a white surface on the substrate.
    • If you notice that, on the contrary, the plant has a nutrient deficiency, it is advisable to start fertilising a little more. If the plant is growing unhealthily slowly and its leaves are smaller than is usual for the given species, it is likely to be undernourished. In such a case, you can try increasing the intensity of fertilisation and observe whether this has a positive effect on the plant and whether it begins to thrive better.

    GROTEK SOLO-TEK DOSING TABLE

    - Fertilise the plants once a week, let 10-15% of the watering drain away
    - You can use only the basic fertilisers, but we recommend using the supporting ones as well
    - You can provide calcium and magnesium to the plants using Cal-Max at a concentration of 4-8 ml / gal (1-2 ml / 1 litre)
    - With Pro-Silicate you can support plant resistance and also increase the pH of the nutrient solution. If you add it to the watering as the last ingredient, do not forget to dilute it beforehand
    - The data in the table are given in ml/gal; for easier use, we have converted them to ml/l in the description for you
    - Dosing tables are always recommendations; observe the plants carefully and reduce or increase the doses if necessary
    - If you are growing in soil or coco, you can enrich the substrate:

    • Synergy adds beneficial mycorrhizal fungi to the substrate
    • Black Pearl supports healthy growth of the root system and flowering

    Seedlings (sowing)

    • Dose the basic fertiliser Solo-Tek Grow to the plants in an amount of 2ml/gal (0.5 ml / 1 l)
    • You can support vitality with the supplementary fertiliser Vitamax Pro in an amount of 4 ml / gal (1 ml / 1 l) and dose it the same way throughout the entire growing cycle
    • The plants will be more resilient when you provide them with a source of silicon in the form of Pro-Silicate (1ml/gal or 0.3 ml / 1 l)

    Transplanting

    • Double the dose of Solo-Tek Grow, to 4ml/gal (1 ml / 1 l)
    • Continue adding Vitamax Pro in an amount of 4 ml / gal (1 ml / 1 l)
    • You can also double the amount of Pro-Silicate, so add 2ml/gal (0.6 ml / 1 l)

    Growth

    • Double the dose of Solo-Tek Grow again to 8ml/gal (2 ml /1 l)
    • Continue adding Vitamax Pro in an amount of 4 ml / gal (1 ml / 1 l)
    • Add more Pro-Silicate as well so that the plants have stronger stems. Dose 4 ml/gal or 1 ml / 1 l and use the same dose for the rest of the growing cycle.

    Pre-flowering

    • Dose Solo-Tek Grow the same as the previous week, i.e. 8ml/gal (2 ml /1 l)
    • Continue adding Vitamax Pro in an amount of 4 ml / gal (1 ml / 1 l)
    • This week, begin supporting flowering with the stimulant BudFuel Pro in an amount of 4 ml / gal (1 ml / 1 l)
    • Continue dosing Pro-Silicate in an amount of 4 ml/gal or 1 ml / 1 l

    1st week of flowering

    • Replace the growth base fertiliser with the flowering Solo-Tek Bloom and add it in an amount of 8ml/gal (2 ml /1 l) throughout the flowering period
    • Continue adding Vitamax Pro in an amount of 4 ml / gal (1 ml / 1 l)
    • Double the dose of BudFuel Pro to 8ml/gal (2 ml /1 l)
    • Continue dosing Pro-Silicate in an amount of 4 ml/gal or 1 ml / 1 l

    2nd week of flowering

    • Add the basic fertiliser Solo-Tek Bloom in an amount of 8ml/gal (2 ml /1 l)
    • Continue adding Vitamax Pro in an amount of 4 ml / gal (1 ml / 1 l)
    • Keep the dose of BudFuel Pro at 8ml/gal (2 ml /1 l)
    • Continue dosing Pro-Silicate in an amount of 4 ml/gal or 1 ml / 1 l

    3rd week of flowering

    • The fertiliser doses are the same as in the second week
    • Add the basic fertiliser Solo-Tek Bloom in an amount of 8ml/gal (2 ml /1 l)
    • Continue adding Vitamax Pro in an amount of 4 ml / gal (1 ml / 1 l)
    • Keep the dose of BudFuel Pro at 8ml/gal (2 ml /1 l)
    • Continue dosing Pro-Silicate in an amount of 4 ml/gal or 1 ml / 1 l

    4th week of flowering

    • Add the basic fertiliser Solo-Tek Bloom in an amount of 8ml/gal (2 ml /1 l)
    • Continue adding Vitamax Pro in an amount of 4 ml / gal (1 ml / 1 l)
    • Reduce the dose of BudFuel Pro by half, to 4ml/gal (1 ml /1 l) and you will no longer need it next week
    • Start dosing Monster Bloom (to speed up ripening) in an amount of 0.4g/gal (0.1 g / 1 l)
    • It is time to add HeavyBud Pro as well (which will increase yields and improve crop quality) in an amount of 4ml/gal (1 ml / 1 l)
    • Continue dosing Pro-Silicate in an amount of 4 ml/gal or 1 ml / 1 l

    5th week of flowering

    • Add the basic fertiliser Solo-Tek Bloom in an amount of 8ml/gal (2 ml /1 l)
    • Continue adding Vitamax Pro in an amount of 4 ml / gal (1 ml / 1 l)
    • Double the dose of Monster Bloom to 0.8g/gal (0.2 g / 1 l)
    • Also increase the dose of HeavyBud Pro to 11ml/gal (3 ml / 1 l)
    • Continue dosing Pro-Silicate in an amount of 4 ml/gal or 1 ml / 1 l

    6th week of flowering

    • Add the basic fertiliser Solo-Tek Bloom in an amount of 8ml/gal (2 ml /1 l)
    • Continue adding Vitamax Pro in an amount of 4 ml / gal (1 ml / 1 l)
    • Reduce the dose of Monster Bloom to 0.4g/gal (0.1 g / 1 l)
    • Continue adding HeavyBud Pro in an amount of 11ml/gal (3 ml / 1 l)
    • Continue dosing Pro-Silicate in an amount of 4 ml/gal or 1 ml / 1 l

    7th week of flowering

    • Add the basic fertiliser Solo-Tek Bloom in an amount of 8ml/gal (2 ml /1 l)
    • Continue adding Vitamax Pro in an amount of 4 ml / gal (1 ml / 1 l)
    • Keep the dose of Monster Bloom at 0.4g/gal (0.1 g / 1 l)
    • Add less HeavyBud Pro - 8ml/gal (2 ml / 1 l)
    • Continue dosing Pro-Silicate in an amount of 4 ml/gal or 1 ml / 1 l

    8th week of flowering

    • Do not use any fertilisers any more
    • Water only with clean water
    • Once a week, add 7.5 ml/gal (1.8 ml / 1 l) of Final Flush to the watering

    - The data in the table are given in ml/l
    - Dosing tables are always recommendations, carefully observe the plants and reduce or increase the doses if necessary
    - If you are growing a variety with a longer flowering period, repeat the dosing from the 7th week until it is time for flushing

    Germination

    • Give the smallest plants only 0.5 ml / 1 l of the basic fertiliser Solo-Tek Grow so that they do not burn
    • The plants will be more vital when they receive Vitamax Pro. Dose it in an amount of 4 ml / 1 l throughout the entire growing cycle

    Transplanting

    Growth

    Pre-flowering

    • Keep the dose of Solo-Tek Grow at 2 ml / 1 l
    • Add Vitamax Pro in an amount of 4 ml / 1l
    • Dose Monster Grow Pro in an amount of 0.1 g / 1 l of water.
    • The transition between growth and flowering will be accelerated by a dose of 1 ml /1 l of the stimulant BudFuel Pro

    1st week of flowering

    • Replace the growth fertiliser with the flowering Solo-Tek Bloom (2 ml / 1 l add throughout the flowering stage)
    • Add Vitamax Pro in an amount of 4 ml / 1l
    • Increase the dose of BudFuel Pro to 2 ml / 1 l
    • The stimulant Blossom Blaster Pro will speed up the formation of buds and flowers; 1 ml / 1 l of water is sufficient.

    2nd week of flowering

    3rd week of flowering

    4th week of flowering

    • Add the basic flowering fertiliser Solo-Tek Bloom in an amount of 2 ml / 1 l
    • Add Vitamax Pro in an amount of 4 ml / 1 l
    • Reduce the dose of BudFuel Pro back to 1 ml / 1 l
    • You will get a quality harvest and compact flowers with Heavy Bud Pro - start with a dose of 1 ml / 1 l
    • Start using Monster Bloom as well to speed up ripening in an amount of 0.1 g / 1 l

    5th week of flowering

    6th week of flowering

    7th week of flowering

    8th week

    • It is time for flushing
    • Stop using fertilisers
    • 2 ml / 1 l of Final Flush will help remove excess minerals
