    GHS Powder Feeding - Dosing Tables

    How should GHS Powder Feeding powdered fertilisers be dosed? Here is a proven procedure!

    GHS Powder Feeding fertilisers are divided into mineral and organic. Different rules and recommendations apply to each fertilisation approach. The fertilisers can be dosed either according to the general recommendation on the back of the fertiliser packaging or according to more precise tables, which are mainly suitable for professionals or commercial growers.

    Mineral GHS Powder Feeding fertilisers

    • The fertilisers can be used in any growing medium
    • The powder dissolves completely in water
    • We recommend regularly measuring the acidity (pH) and conductivity (EC) of the nutrient solution
    • The use of Calcium depends on the hardness of the water used and the requirements of the plants

    How do you mix the nutrient solution?

    1. Check the EC, pH and water temperature.
      a) The water should have a temperature of around 18-22°C, and storage of the nutrient solution is recommended within the same range
      b) If the EC is zero (rainwater or osmotically filtered water), we recommend adding Calcium until it reaches at least 0.3-0.4 EC
    2. Add fertilisers and stimulators. Mix thoroughly (stir for 2-3 minutes) and then measure the EC.
      a) If the EC is lower than it should be, add fertilisers in the same ratio until you reach the correct value
    3. Leave the solution to stand for 15-30 min
    4. Measure the pH and adjust it as needed. Stir again for 2-3 minutes and wait another 15-30 minutes for the solution to stabilise
    5. If both the EC and pH values are correct, water the plants

    BEGINNER

    It mainly depends on what you want to grow. Depending on the variety or type of plant, you choose a fertiliser that covers the entire cycle. Measuring pH and EC is recommended, but you can manage without it as well. 

    Dosing Hybrids (hybrid varieties), Short Flowering (varieties with a short flowering phase) and Long Flowering (varieties with a long flowering phase):

    - all fertilisers are suitable for the entire growing cycle
    - stop fertilising 10 days before harvest

    • young plants: 2.5 - 5g / 10 L water
    • growth/flowering: 10 g / 10 L water
    • soil: add fertiliser to every second watering
    • hydroponics and coco: add fertiliser to every watering
    • recommended pH: 
      • growth: 5.5 - 6.0 (5.5 - 5.8 for Long Flowering)
      • flowering: 6.0 - 6.5 (5.8 - 6.8 for Long Flowering)

    You can support flowering with Booster, achieving much better results in terms of flower and fruit production. It is essential to use the stimulator together with the base fertiliser. 

    Dosing of the stimulator Booster:

    • 3rd and 4th week of flowering: 2-3 g/ 10 l water
    • 5th and 6th week of flowering: 3-4 g / 10 l water
    • 7th and 8th week of flowering: 4-5 g / 10 l water
    • soil: add fertiliser to every second watering
    • hydroponics and coco: add fertiliser to every watering
    • recommended pH: 5.8 - 6.5

    Dosing of the base fertiliser Grow:

    - base fertiliser adjusted for the growth phase, mother plants, seedlings and rooted cuttings

    • young plants and rooted cuttings: 2.5 - 5 g / 10L water
    • mother plants: 10 g / 10L water
    • soil: add fertiliser to every second watering
    • hydroponics and coco: add fertiliser to every watering
    • recommended pH: 5.5 - 6.0

    PROFESSIONAL

    • To follow the growing plan, it is necessary to measure pH and EC, so you have a better overview of exactly what you are feeding the plants with and it is easier to adjust the nutrition beyond the table if necessary
    • If you use reverse osmosis water, we recommend adjusting the EC with Calcium until it reaches at least 0.3 - 0.4
    • The dosing tables change according to the growing medium, the variety grown and the growth phase
    • Recommended pH: 
      • Soil: 6.0 - 6.5 
      • Hydroponics and coco: 5.8 - 6.2
      • Rockwool: 5.5 - 6.0

    Organic GHS Powder Feeding fertilisers

    • They are suitable for soil mixes and coco
    • Organic fertilisers must be added directly to the substrate
    • Apply them either before planting the plant or mix them into the top layer during the growing cycle
    • The fertiliser is released for eight weeks, then it is necessary to fertilise again
    • When using fertilisers, white mould may appear on the substrate - do not remove it, it should disappear on its own within a few days. This is beneficial mycelium.

    Dosing of BioGrow

    - base fertiliser for the growth phase and mother plants
    - in a pre-fertilised substrate, it is recommended to reduce the dose
    - for seedlings and plants aged 2-3 weeks, give only half the dose so they do not burn
    - if the vegetative phase of the plant is longer than 8 weeks, it is necessary to fertilise again
    - the second dose of fertiliser only needs to be sprinkled on the surface of the substrate and gently mixed in

    Vegetative phase: 3 g / 1 l substrate
    Mother plants: 2-3 g / 1 l substrate, apply every two months

    Dosing of BioBloom

    - base fertiliser for the flowering phase 
    - the fertiliser is released for eight weeks; if the flowering phase is longer, you must apply the fertiliser again

    Dosing of BioEnhancer

    - support fertiliser for the entire growing cycle
    - in the vegetative phase it supports rooting
    - in the flowering phase it supports flowering
    - if you grow in coco, adjust the pH of the watering to 5.0 before applying BioEnhancer
    - if you add the stimulator to the watering, apply it once every two weeks

    Watering: 0.5 - 1 g / 1 litre of water
    Foliar spray: 3 - 5 g / 10 litres of water
    Seed treatment before germination: 0.5 - 1 g / 1 litre of water
