Durable pH probe for direct measurement in substrate

The Leap pH Probe is, according to Bluelab, their most durable probe - it features a reinforced spear-tip that allows you to measure pH directly in the growing medium, not just in solution. It is suitable for soil, coconut fibre, and mineral wool, providing you with pH readings right in the root zone where it matters most. It measures across the full range of 0 to 14 pH and as a replaceable part restores measurement without buying a new device.

Compatibility

The Leap probe is standard for Bluelab metres that use it - Bluelab Multimedia pH Metre and Combo Metre versions with the Leap probe. The connector is a standard BNC with a two-metre cable, so it technically fits other Bluelab handhelds, monitors, and controllers with BNC - but thanks to the spear-tip it is mainly designed for direct measurement in substrate. Do not confuse it with a standard pH probe for solutions.

Storage and care

Although the Leap is designed for substrate, it is a glass pH probe - store it in KCl storage solution and do not let it dry out. Calibrate it with two-point solutions pH 4 and pH 7. The probe has a 6-month warranty.
