How to use Bionova Living Soil?

Use is incredibly simple and even a complete beginner can manage it. Just follow three easy steps:

• 1. Mixing with the substrate: Mix the contents of the bag (220 g) evenly with 15-20 litres of light or only mildly pre-fertilised substrate. Avoid heavily pre-fertilised soil mixes.
• 2. Activation with water: After mixing, water the substrate thoroughly. This activates all the microorganisms contained and starts the process of gradual nutrient release.
• 3. Planting: Plant your plants into the substrate prepared in this way and then just water with clean water according to their needs. Living Soil will take care of everything else.

The composition that makes the difference

The secret of Living Soil's effectiveness lies in its complex composition, where each ingredient has its irreplaceable role. It is not just about nutrients, but about creating an entire living community in the soil.

• Mycorrhizal fungi: 18 species of these microscopic fungi form a symbiosis with the roots. They increase their surface area up to one hundredfold, dramatically improving the uptake of water and nutrients, especially phosphorus.
• Beneficial bacilli: 7 strains of bacilli protect the plant from pathogens, break down organic matter in the soil and make nutrients available in a more easily absorbed form.
• Seaweed (Kelp): Acts as a natural biostimulant, supports plant vitality and provides valuable trace elements and vitamins.
• Other natural ingredients: The blend also contains bentonite, vinasse, enzymes, amino acids, humates and compost, which together improve soil structure and its ability to retain water and nutrients.
