Key features
- it is non-toxic, contains no nutrients and is therefore safe to use on plants at any stage of growth

System maintenance
- irrigation systems that are regularly maintained with Athena Cleanse last longer and run more optimally

Regular use
- for regular maintenance, use a diluted mix of 5-13 ml per 10 l of water

For heavily soiled systems 
- increase the dosage to 13-26 ml per 10 l of water to tackle heavy conditions in tanks and growing media

RDWC and other recirculating hydroponic systems
- any recirculating irrigation system or deep water culture (DWC) system should use Athena Cleanse, which removes mineral residues and reduces limescale
- using Cleanse in a recirculating or DWC system helps break down materials with a lower degree of solubility, such as mineral complexes that are no longer available to plants
- mineral build-up and blockages are the main causes of nutrient deficiencies – solve these problems with Athena Cleanse

Flushing mix for media/system
- use Athena Cleanse at a rate of 13–26 ml per 10 l of water during the final flushing phase to reduce the build-up of residual minerals
- the gentle acid used in Athena Cleanse does not affect plant growth or development and, as such, the product can be used to remove limescale from irrigation systems during all stages of growth.
