Plants in the Alien Hydroponics Aero system are watered with a fine spray of water and grow without a growing medium in an open basket. A powerful but quiet pump delivers nutrient solution to each growing container, where it is dispersed by two fine nozzles mounted on the underside of the lid. The duration and intervals of watering can be adjusted to suit the needs of the plants being grown. The system thus gives the grower more control over the conditions around the plant roots.

Roots that are regularly sprayed with nutrient solution, but otherwise are freely in the air, can take in much more oxygen and nutrients. Crops grow like crazy and you can certainly look forward to great results. Another undeniable advantage is that you have a better chance of avoiding problems such as root rot or disease.

The Alien Hydroponics Aero system can be set up as RTW (run-to-waste, used irrigation is drained away to waste) or as a recirculating system. Each option has its advantages, but with both you can look forward to efficiency in terms of water consumption (up to 95% less than in classic soil growing) and fertilisers.

Irrigation is controlled by the Rain Brain system, which operates both the irrigation and drainage pumps. You can set the irrigation to last from 15 seconds to 5 minutes, at intervals from 30 minutes to 7 days. Before the nutrient solution reaches the plants, it is filtered to remove impurities.

Alien Hydroponics Aero 24Pot with twenty-four pots is available in Silver (silver) and Black (black) variants. You can also choose from two pot sizes; both variants are available in 15L and 30L sizes.

For the Aero system, a tank with a capacity of at least 500L must be purchased separately (we recommend Flexitank or the original Alien Hydroponics tank).

How do the Silver and Black systems differ?

In addition to the basic advantages, the Silver system has something extra:

• DualFlow 50mm connectors - the larger diameter means a freer flow of nutrient solution, and they are also designed for better drainage
• 50mm silver hose - the connecting hose is also thicker and reflects heat, so the solution does not heat up in it
• Containers and lids made of silver polymer - they reflect heat, so there is no heating
• Drain with copper coating - roots will not grow into the irrigation system

Each package contains:

Containers, lids, hydroponic baskets, micro-sprayers, container stands, filter head, Rain Brain control system, Rain irrigation pump, drainage pump, power cable, 12V adapter, container clamps, lid clamps, nuts, washers, valve taps, siphon valves, necessary hoses, hose cutters, adjustable spanner, hose clips, and manual.

The Aero Black package also contains: drain covers, 32mm connectors.

The Aero Pro Silver package also contains: drain covers with copper coating, Dual-Flow connectors and a silver distribution hose instead of a black one.
