Proguard Defender DXB 100 with BPI, for 46m2

The ProGuard Defender DXB 100 active air purifier with BPI has been designed and engineered to provide effectivedisinfection in growing rooms of approximately 46 m2 at a height of 3-3.6 m.

The ProGuard Defender DXB 100 with BPI has been provento kill surface and airborne pathogens 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.In areas less than 28 m2it is recommended to use a drawer timer and not run the ProGuard around the clock.

The ProGuard™ sanitizing process combines PCO and BPI:
1. ProGuard uses patented photocatalytic oxidation (PCO) technology that uses energy to activate a catalyst and convert moisture into dry hydrogen peroxide and other disinfectants that continuously clean the space 24 hours a day.
2. By creating a plasma with extremely high positive and negative charges, BPI (bipolar ionization) ions effectively destroy pathogens including mold, fungi, viruses and bacteria. They also purify the air by causing particles to clump together and fall to the floor.

The higher the humidity, the greater the volume of oxidation created and the more effective the technology.

How to install and use a ProGuard purifier in a grow room:
- Always install the ProGuard close to the air intake and away from the air outlet of the grow room
- but do not place it closer than approx. 1 m from the fan, this is the only way to ensure proper and gentle dispersion of the disinfection
- the unit can be installed on the wall or hung from the ceiling - the air outlet must lead downwards, filters will be on the top right and left
- ProGuard purifiers must not come into contact with water
- do not install near lighting
- installation should not take more than a few minutes

Maintenance and Operation
Air filters should be replaced every 3-4 months or as needed to keep the inside of the unit clean. This varies depending on the environment. In clean grow rooms, replacement usually about once every quarter is sufficient. Unplug the unit, simply remove the unit cover, slide the filter out easily and insert a new one.

For optimum performance, the PCO BPI Air Purification Kit should be replaced every 12 months as UV light degrades over time and the cell becomes contaminated with foreign matter. It is easy to replace by following the instructions in the user manual. Failure to replace the cell annually will cause the unit to become ineffective.
