Tablet Jiffy - diameter 39 mm

Jiffy 7 peat planting tablets (diameter 39 mm) are suitable for growing plants from seed and cuttings.

JIFFY 7 tablets bring economical and easy handling and storage before use. It is a system for growing seedlings without soil and substrates. JIFFY tablets are simply dipped in water and once swollen, they create a substitute for conventional container soil. Jiffy tablets are made from high quality sphagnum peat containing acidity and nutrient modifying minerals.

What are the advantages of Jiffy 7 tablets?

• Space saving before handling
• Faster rooting due to the balanced air ratio in the tablet
• Free from pests, fungi and moulds, no need to sterilise them!
• Easy handling during planting with subsequent fast rooting of the plants
• Good use of space - up to 1,000 seedlings can be grown on an area of 2.2^m2
• Eliminates the need for frequent irrigation and allows longer nutrient transport due to higher water absorption
• Jiffy has a pH of 5.5 ± 0.5 and a leachate conductivity of 1.25 ± 0.25 mS/cm.

To use:
- place the JIFFY tablet in a bowl or steamer and pour water over it.
- within a few minutes the water is absorbed and they swell.
- do not cut the tablet wrapper, the roots will grow through the tablet without any problems.

What you must never do!
- JIFFY peat tablets must not be waterlogged, standing in water - germination will be minimal or zero, the seeds will drown and rot!
