The key to perfect efficiency: Activated carbon CKV-4

The heart of the filter is specially lightweight, pelleted activated carbon type CKV-4. Thanks to the controlled coarseness of the grains and the extremely high porosity of the material, air flows evenly through the entire carbon bed and more than 99% of unwanted odours and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) are captured. Compared to powdered charcoal, the pelletised form offers longer life and more stable performance over the entire period of use.

This range is the ideal choice for those who require higher performance than basic filters but do not need the heaviest and most expensive industrial variants. Compared to the premium Original range, it is significantly lighter, making it easier to handle and install, while retaining a robust 50mm activated carbon layer and a lifespan of up to 24 months.

Flexible installation and practical use

The filter can be installed horizontally or vertically, giving you maximum freedom in the design of your ventilation system. To ensure optimum performance, it is crucial to choose a fan with the appropriate power output. You can easily calculate the required airflow:

• Calculate the room volume (length × width × height in metres).
• Multiply the result by 60 (number of air changes per hour).
• The resulting value in m³/h should be less than the maximum airflow of the filter.

Tips for maximum durability

The lifetime of the carbon cartridge, which is up to 24 months, depends on the operating conditions. To maximize it, keep the relative humidity below 80% and the temperature below 80 °C. Also clean or change the pre-filter (filter cloth) regularly to prevent dust and other contaminants from clogging the charcoal.
