The CAN-Special range of carbon filters has been designed to meet the high expectations of harsh industrial plant conditions while being affordable.

The Can-Special odour filters with an optimum air flow of 1000 m3/h are a special lightweight range of filters from Can Filters, which specialises in the filtration of unwanted odours using activated carbon. This range is characterized by its light weight, which is due to the lightweight CKV-4 pelletized activated carbon (1l of pelletized carbon has a weight of approx. 500g) and small dimensions. The filter cartridge lifetime is approximately 24 months depending on the environment. For the efficiency of the activated carbon odour filter to be correct, the choice of the appropriate activated carbon type and activation process is important. The controlled coarseness and high porosity of the activated carbon allows for even airflow and captures more than 99% of unwanted odours.

This filter can be used in both vertical and horizontal positions.

The operating air temperature is from 10°C - 80°C and the humidity is 0 - 80%.

Calculation to select the appropriate filter
Calculate the air volume in the room by multiplying the length of the room (m) by the width of the room (m) and the height of the ceiling (m).
E.g.: A room with a length of 4 m, a width of 3 m and a ceiling height of 2 m => 4 x 3 x 2 = 24 m3
Multiply the resulting air volume by 60 (i.e. the number of minutes per hour) to find out how much air needs to be cleaned in 1 hour.
Compare the result with the maximum performance of the selected filter. If its max. performance is higher than our result, the filter is sufficient for the space.
