When the two devices are connected, you get a fully automated system that maintains the set CO2 level on its own. The solenoid valve is simply fitted to the gas bottle and the system takes care of everything else. A programmable switching clock can also be used for basic dosing, but to use the full potential and accuracy of the probe, a control unit is recommended.
