The secret lies in the unique one-way valve built right into the lid. This clever mechanism allows gases that are naturally released from, for example, roasted coffee or dried herbs (CO2) to escape from the container. At the same time, it hermetically prevents ambient oxygen from entering.

Oxygen is the main enemy of freshness because it causes oxidation, which destroys valuable aromatic substances and degrades the taste. By creating a partial vacuum, your stored material remains protected and stable.

Handling the jar is completely intuitive. Simply press the button on the lid to open and close. When closing, you squeeze out the excess air and the valve takes care of the rest. The container is made of highly durable, opaque and food-grade polystyrene (PS #6), which is completely BPA-free and approved for food contact (NSF/EU certification).

Care of the bowl

To preserve the functionality of the patented valve and the longevity of the material, we recommend that you wash the jar by hand only. It is not dishwasher or microwave safe.
