Winter's coming — turn up the heat and give your plants extra light
Autumn is irretrievably coming to an end and the days will continue to shorten. Help your plants survive this period unharmed. We have tips for products that might come in handy during this time.
Supplemental heating
To prevent our plants from suffering, it's good to provide them with extra heating in the winter months; some would not survive the winter without it. Tubular heating elements Urban Heater provide a stable environment during sudden fluctuations or low night temperatures. They are suitable for greenhouses, cloches, or tents. They resist splashes of water from sprayers or humidity perfectly.

Supplemental lighting
Shorter and shorter days call for supporting your flowers; give your plants a longer day and more light and they will richly reward you.
The first tip is growth lighting, which is intended for small growing spaces of about 0.8 m². It can also be used as supplementary light where MH lamps do not provide enough. Thanks to its low heat output it can be hung directly above plants without risk of burning, and it is not demanding on energy consumption.
The practical LED 20 W light with a spectrum for both growth and flowering consists of two separate LED strips with adjustable positions, a timer and a switch between blue, red and combined spectra. Its range of uses is really wide. Thanks to the practical clip it can be used over window boxes, in a cloche or directly above a single flowerpot.
The last selected light is GENT LED Photon 100W. This is a very high-quality lighting with a spectrum for plants and vegetables. It offers excellent longevity up to 100,000 hours, which is up to 20× more than HPS lamps. The light can also be controlled by a timer.
