What can be grown using hydroponics?
There is a simple answer to the common question: Almost anything that grows! Today's article highlights plants suitable for cultivation using individual hydroponic systems and that are also long-time favorites among growers focused on hydroponics.

Indoor gardening and hydroponics is a powerful combination that means it doesn't matter if it's cold outside.
- Hydroponic cultivation makes it easier to grow many types of vegetables that will reward you at harvest with larger and tastier produce, whether it's tomatoes, peppers, chillies, lettuce or other leafy greens.
- An investment in one of the hydroponic systems allows you to secure a supply of top-quality vitamins year-round without having to battle molds, pests or other common plant diseases. Wondering which hydroponic system to choose based on the type of vegetables you plan to grow most?
- Juicy, flavourful tomatoes as well as classic peppers or chilli peppers can be successfully grown, for example, with the popular hydro systems Atami Wilma, which are available in many variants to suit different needs, and they also allow versatile use for growing other plants. You can also use the Flo Gro system, or consider a quality bubbler.
- Classic NFT systems or vertical NFT systems are perfectly suited for growing lettuces and leafy greens.

- Indoor growers focused on hydroponics, and of course their friends or customers, most often enjoy the intense aroma and health-promoting compounds of herbs such as mint, basil, thyme, sage and many others.

- When growing herbs or microgreens in the kitchen, growers and cooks who value fresh ingredients often encounter small pests that can spoil the joy and results of herb cultivation. With hydroponics you can forget about them. Very handy for cultivating various herbs at home are the Nutriculture X-Stream products.
- If we move away from everything that belongs on a diverse menu to other types of plants, hydroponics also opens the door to efficient cultivation of ornamental plants such as dracaena (dracaena) and dieffenbachia (dieffenbachia), monstera, fig or ivy. Among flowering species you can start, for example, with African violets and very often in hydroponics you will also find tulips, daffodils and other bulbs or various orchids.
- For the above ornamental and flowering plants, hydroponic systems such as Atami Wilma, Flo Gro or bubblers will serve you well again.
