Terra Aquatica (T.A.®) - the new name of a prestigious brand
Products of the legendary manufacturer GHE®, known among other things for its intensive collaboration with NASA, have received a new name just like the company itself. General Hydroponics of Europe is definitively changing to Terra Aquatica.

Let’s take a look together at what is changing and what is not, so you don’t have to search for popular fertilizers, substrates and hydroponic systems under a different name unnecessarily.
The French leader in hydroponics now wears a brand new outfit. Since 2015 the General Hydroponics brand was part of the large multinational horticulture corporation Scotts Miracle-Gro Co. Later it decided to operate as an independent unit and separate from the parent company. Therefore a complete rebranding of GHE was launched in mid-2019, which is also endorsed by the author of the hydroponic bible William Texier.
The names have changed, but the quality remains the same — first-rate. Likewise, for all products the original formulation and dosing have been preserved under the principle that the winning combination is not changed.
Labels are designed so that at first glance it is clear which product they originate from. The upper half carries the new logo and product name, for example TriPart. Below, on each label the manufacturer also lists the original name, in this case FloraBloom, and there is a depiction of the identical recipe as known from the original product, with the classic GHE logo at the very bottom.
We also show the original product names in parentheses on our e-shop for easier orientation. At least for now, until the gardening world gets fully used to it…
You will immediately recognize most of your favorite products, especially fertilizers, by the graphic and color design of the label, as the following image illustrates.

The hydroponic system AeroFlo has been updated. It now carries the trade name GrowStream and there is plenty to look forward to. Its improved construction is built on the same foundations as AeroFlo including the irrigation mechanism. The new system, however, has rounded corners and larger growing chambers.
The systems EcoGrower, AquaFarm, WaterFarm, Aerofarm and RainForest remain the same.
The change from GHE (G. H.) to T. A. should no longer unnecessarily surprise or confuse you when choosing products from the prestigious brand, which we can only recommend. If the manufacturer makes any further changes, we will inform you, and if you would like to ask us anything, do not hesitate to contact us at the known address info@higarden.cz.
