How to choose a plant pot?
Are practical high-tech flower pots worth it or will an ordinary plastic or ceramic one suffice? It's individual. In any case, today we'll compare both sides of the coin.

We certainly don't want to claim that with the arrival of modern pieces and innovations in the range of flower pots, it's pointless to get the good old classic, such as a plastic planter, of which there are moreover countless variants for different kinds of plants and you can buy them for just a few crowns.
On the other hand, why not pay a few crowns more to significantly simplify your gardening and at the same time substantially support plant development, right? Here the benefits of modern pieces begin. Let's take a closer look at what makes modern flower pots stand out!
The fact that a flower pot is plastic doesn't mean it can't be effectively "tuned" so your plants develop root systems as strong as the mythical HERCULES. Specifically perforated pots have drainage holes placed all around and an uneven bottom with internal projections. This combination ensures both excess water drainage and a natural expansion of the root ball so that roots do not grow out of the pot. As you probably suspect, HERCULES pots give you the chance to forget about container degradation forever! After all, growers who are used to expecting ordinary planters to degrade tend to buy them in larger quantities anyway. The results from growing using the Hercules pot are well illustrated by the photo below.

Another representative of elite plastic pots are the Air Pot products. Their construction is the result of 15 years of development, and therefore in our offer you will find the sixth generation of these distinctive pots, which are made for perfect substrate aeration, water drainage and nutrient uptake. AirPot pots benefit from a container-principle design that prevents roots from growing in an undesirable spiral.
We also have a separate category that has been trendy lately, namely fabric flower pots. This category has also been shaped by progress in the development of gardening supplies. Today you can stack dozens of these pots on top of each other, fold them, put them in a bag and off you go, for example to a cottage. A fabric flower pot made from recyclable materials is an ecological alternative and is used both indoors and for outdoor gardening. Among growers, pots made from durable fabric are becoming increasingly popular also because they offer possibilities that conventional pots definitely do not, whether they degrade or not. Fabric flower pots can be easily washed in a washing machine and reused as good as new!
When we're talking about technologically advanced pots, we must not forget the sophisticated self-watering pots. These are appreciated by anyone who has trouble with regular watering or is often away.
Now that you know what options you have, let's summarize the answer to the question of which flower pot will be right for you.
The growing container should be the right size. So if you plan to dedicate a single pot to, for example, an autoflowering plant that will be tall or, conversely, shorter but grow wide, remember that you'll never go wrong choosing a larger volume rather than a smaller one. Allow some margin; it's worth it.
Then there's the age-old dilemma: a square flower pot, or a round one? Square pots make better use of space and are ideal for cultivating a larger number of smaller plants in one place. Containers with a round bottom can be clearly recommended for large plants, and this is why most of our customers buy them. But as you can see from the picture, the round shape suits not only larger plants...
