AutoPot XXL FlexiPot - 20L

FlexiPots are an excellent alternative to plastic pots, unique in that root growth is much more efficient in this case compared to the plastic option. When the roots reach the wall of the pot, the outside light and air discourage them from spreading further, resulting in the formation of a secondary root structure leading to significantly better moisture and nutrient uptake. Also, the classic circling of roots around the plastic pot is eliminated, allowing much larger plants to be produced from smaller pots.

The porous, BPA and lead-free FlexiPot material also allows for better gas exchange in the substrate. The root zone can breathe freely and this greatly increases the oxygen level.

The extremely durable and reusable FlexiPot fabric planter is easy to clean between uses if necessary. After emptying, it is best to let the FlexiPot dry. After a few days, dust and small roots are easily removed with a brush. While this level of cleaning is quite sufficient, the FlexiPot can be washed in a washing machine or bath in a peroxide solution to sterilize it.

When growing with FlexiPot in the Auto5 system or with easy2GO, we recommend using a copper sleeve on the cam or PotSock on the planter to prevent roots from growing through the cam.
