Both the Black and PRO Silver models offer great results, fast growth, shorter growing seasons and high yields. By reducing the growing time, the entire growing process is streamlined and profits are increased, the system will take care of the plants itself, just check EC a pH of the nutrient solution and you can enjoy a beautiful harvest.
RDWC ("recirculating deep water culture") systems are an efficient way of hydroponic growing where the roots of the plant are completely submerged in the nutrient solution, which is stirred by an air motor. The nutrient solution circulates between the growing containers, giving the plants immediate access to nutrients and oxygen, the solution does not stagnate, and there is less spoilage.
In Alien Hydroponics' system, the solution is circulated by the JET-STREAM A.I.R. silent pump, which was developed to meet the requirements of RDWC systems. Despite its low noise level, it generates high pressure and efficiently distributes the oxygenated nutrient solution directly into the root system. The pump is equipped with a double silencing system and two chambers - maintaining low noise and power consumption without compromising performance.

The Alien Hydroponics RDWC 48Pot with forty-eight pots is available in Silver and Black. You can choose from two pot sizes, both available in 20L and 36L.
We recommend buying a tank with the system - either the original one from Alien Hydroponics, but you can also attach another one without any problem, e.g. Flexitank. A nutrient solution is also advisable refrigerate. It is also necessary to purchase air pump with adequate capacity.
What is the difference between the Black system and the PRO Silver system?
The Silver systems have something extra:
- DualFlow 50mm couplings - the larger diameter means a freer flow of nutrient solution, they are also adapted for better drainage.
- Silver 50mm hose - the coupling hose is also thicker and reflects heat, so the solution does not heat up in it
- Silver polymer containers and lids - reflects heat, no heating
- A.I.R. Rings - air rings designed for RDWC systems
- Valve and filter - removes impurities from the nutrient solution
Each package contains everything needed to assemble the system. In the RDWC Black pack you will find classic air stones and 32mm hoses and couplings.
