Gavita Digistar 600W E-series, incl. cables, with control (300-660W)

The Gavita Digistar 600W E-series has a connector to connect to the Gavita Controller to control the intensity of the lighting if the temperature set on the controller is exceeded. The GAVITA DigiStar ballasts have been developed to power the full range of HPS/MH (high pressure sodium/metal halide) lamps. They are manufactured from the highest quality components required to operate at high output frequency. The result is a highly sophisticated digital ballast with optimum output parameters, no acoustic resonances and very long life.

DigiStars lamps are adjustable to a wide power range, allowing you to dim or boost the lamp light. With a 10% boost on the 400W and 600W models, you are assured of the highest power available.
To achieve long lamp life, we have built in a slow soft-dim dimmer.
When you set a new output value, it takes 60 seconds to gradually dim or boost the light to the new level. The process is so gradual that your eyes won't even notice any difference.
Multiple output power allows you to use different lamps with one ballast: the 600W model can be used for 400W and 600W lamps. An internal microprocessor ensures the highest performance at all times.
