The controllable 600W digital ballast by Lumatek can be used with metal-halide and high-pressure sodium lamps of different wattages. In practice, this means that you can use the ballast for different growth phases. The ballast is dimmable to 250W, 400W, 600W and 660W SL - Super Lumens. The Super Lumens setting boosts the power by 10%. 

The ballast is controlled by a microprocessor, which compensates for voltage fluctuations. The microprocessor ignites the lamp slowly over the course of five minutes. Both of these features increase the lifespan of the bulbs. The ballast is incredibly safe - it's protected against shortcircuiting, overheating, high and low voltage and bulb failure. It also has built-in EMI suppression.

The Lumatek Controllable Digital Ballast is energy efficient, silent and emits little to no heat. The ballast is long-lasting and reliable - and it has a five-year warranty. Every ballast is tested for 12 hours by Lumatek to make sure that it's running perfectly and meeting its high standards.

It can be connected to the Lumatek Digital Panel - Controller PLUS 2.0, which can operate up to 400 lights and ballasts at the same time. It can dim the lights in increments of 1%, turn them on/off automatically at the pre-set time and simulate sunrise/sundown.
