Boveda 62% humidity, 1pc

Boveda is a unique way of maintaining constant humidity in a closed container. Inside the bag is a special salt that can hold the humidity at 62%. For Boveda 62%, this is a mixture of potassium citrate and acetate. The functionality of the pouch varies, if the humidity is higher around the pouch, it binds the water and if the humidity is lower, it is able to release the water. The packaging is a unique material that functions similarly to reverse osmosis. It can both accept and release water molecules while the salt stays in and the impurities stay out. As a result, Boveda products are able to perfectly hold and bi-directionally control and regulate the moisture in the closed container.

Boveda 62% will ensure an optimum constant moisture of 62% of well dried herbs in a closed container for 3 to 4 months. Before use, remove the plastic wrap only, place the bag in the container with the herbs and seal as tightly as possible. Caution, Boveda is not for drying damp and under-dried herbs.

Using Boveda products is easy. Simply remove the protective plastic wrapping and place the bag in the container and seal. When the bag is exhausted, the gel contents harden. Simply replace with a new one.

The durability of Boveda bags depends on several factors. The lifespan is mainly shortened if the herbs are not dried properly, either too little or too much. Durability is also reduced when the container is opened frequently, when the optimal microclimate is disturbed.
