MHJ1 - Digital Humidistat (humidifying/dehumidifying)

The MHJ1 is a digital humidistat - it controls the connected device according to the pre-set ideal air humidity in % RH (relative humidity). It has two main modes: humidifying (for switching a humidifier) and dehumidifying (for switching a dehumidifier). The humidistat turns the connected appliance (max. load 3000W) on or off to maintain the ideal humidity. The humidity can be set anywhere between 0 and 100% RH.

By setting the hysteresis (1% - 10%RH), you control when the humidifier/dehumidifier turns on/off. For example, if you set the hysteresis to 2% and the ideal humidity to 20%, a humidifier will turn on at 18%. All settings save automatically. The maximum load of the appliance is up to 3000W.

The LCD screen shows the current humidity, optimal humidity and whether the connected appliance is on or off. If there is any fault in the connected device, the humidistat or the sensor, an optical and acoustic alarm turns on. The device is protected by a fuse. The package includes a humidity sensor on a 1,5m cable, a 3m power cable and brackets for attaching the humidistat to a wall.
