The CAN-Special range of carbon filters has been designed to meet the high expectations of harsh industrial plant environments while being affordable.

The Can-Special odour filters with an optimum air flow of 1700 m3/h are a special lightweight range of filters from Can Filters, which specialises in the filtration of unwanted odours using activated carbon. This range is characterized by its light weight, which is due to the lightweight CKV-4 pelletized activated carbon (1l of pelletized carbon has a weight of approx. 500g) and small dimensions. The filter cartridge lifetime is approximately 24 months depending on the environment. For the efficiency of the activated carbon odour filter to be correct, the choice of the right type of activated carbon and activation process is important. The controlled coarseness and high porosity of the activated carbon allows even airflow and captures more than 99% of unwanted odors.

This filter can be used in both vertical and horizontal positions.

The operating air temperature is from 10°C - 80°C and humidity 0 - 80%.

Calculation to select the appropriate filter
Calculate the volume of air in the room by multiplying the length of the room (m) by the width of the room (m) and the height of the ceiling (m).
E.g.: Room 4 m long, 3 m wide and 2 m ceiling height => 4 x 3 x 2 = 24 m3
Multiply the resulting volume of air by 60 (i.e. the number of minutes per hour) to find the amount of air that needs to be purified in 1 hour.
Compare the result with the maximum performance of the selected filter. If its max. performance is higher than our result, the filter is sufficient for the space.
