The HydroCoco by Gold Label contains 60% of hydroton (expanded clay pebbles) and 40% of coco. The mixture is ideal for hydroponics - it's aerated and has excellent water retention properties - ideal for roots.
The hydroton brings excellent drainage and aeration. Coco coir is anti-bacterial and absorbs water well. The mixture doesn't hold excessive water and keeps the roots healthy and aerated, meaning you have to water the plants less.
