This double-ended (DE) HPS 600W by Lumatek is a pulse-start lamp suitable for both the vegetative and flowering phases. It works perfectly with the Lumatek digital ballasts. 

Because it uses ceramic arc tube technology and a specific gas blend, the lamp emits the optimal light spectrum for plant growth. The ceramic tube means that the lamp can operate at higher temperatures, which enables using new different gas blends with improved properties like emitted light spectrum, lifespan, and color consistency. The pulse-start technology fires the lamp quicker and lengthens its lifespan.

Double Ended HPS lamps are more stable than the classic HPS lamps with an E40 socket, which allows them to emit 10% more intense light and reach a better PAR/PPF. Because it has a higher light intensity, the lamp can be placed further away from the plants without decreasing its footprint and shining unevenly.
