Growing microgreens from seeds is easy and can be done by a beginner or a small child. For home growing, all you need is a bowl, a suitable substrate (Grodan Cress Plate, Hempflax hemp mat, non-woven fabric, coconut or nutrient-free planting medium), enough light for the green sprouts and sharp scissors for harvesting. Fresh microgreens will provide a wide spectrum of vitamins, nutrients, antioxidants and other beneficial substances.
