    Are innovations appealing to you? In that case, when buying lighting you may prefer improved MH lamps with an almost full colour spectrum! This is a simplified way to describe the more modern, and up to 20 % more efficient CMH (Ceramic Metal Halide) lamps with an inner tube made of ceramic material, also known as LEC (Light Emitting Ceramic).

    The CMH lamp bulb is stronger, so it can withstand higher internal pressure. This makes it possible to use a completely new combination of gases and vapours, improving the overall properties of the lamp. The light it emits is closer to natural sunlight and contains a greater proportion of ultraviolet and infrared radiation, which among other things stimulates resin production in plants. Under such light, your grow room will turn green and the results of your work will be tastier. 

    Because they try to copy sunlight, CMH lamps are suitable for both the flowering stage and growth. They are available in 315 W or 630 W.

    However, they need a ballast adapted to their output - 315 W or 630 W. A complete solution is offered by the CMH kit from Lumatek, which includes the lamp and the matching ballast. As with every lamp, we also recommend a reflector for CMH, which ensures that all the light gets where it should - to the plants.

    Another option is DE CMH lamps. The DE designation means double ended, which is literally synonymous with efficiency among growers, as DE double-ended lamps are generally characterised by higher light intensity and PAR values, which express the amount of emitted light that is actually usable for photosynthesis. An excellent choice for the entire growing cycle!
