The instrument housing is completely moisture-proof. All EC and TDS measurements are automatically temperature compensated (ATC) and can be displayed in units of ̊ C or ̊ F. The conversion factor (CONV) from EC to TDS as well as the β coefficient (BETA) for temperature compensation can be changed by the user. The meters have a single point calibration. Measurements are very accurate as a separate stability check is located directly on the LCD display. These models also include a battery status symbol to alert you to replace the battery if necessary. The AD32P measurement probe supplied with the instruments is easily replaceable by the user. A temperature sensor housed in the probe housing allows for fast and accurate temperature measurement for temperature compensation.
