The latest growing medium from Atami made of perlite and coconut fibres - ATAMI High Porosity Cocos 50l is a buffered, thoroughly cleaned substrate with a good structure and high aeration.

Coconut substrate mixed with perlite will meet the needs of your plants, because roots need to breathe and therefore an airy substrate leads to the formation of more small rootlets. With enough oxygen, the root system will develop better, increase its ability to absorb nutrients and the plant will grow and thrive more effectively. That is why Atami has launched High Porosity Cocos, a buffered, thoroughly cleaned substrate with a good structure and high aeration ensured by the addition of perlite.

Use of High Porosity Cocos
High Porosity Cocos, thanks also to the added perlite, will provide your plants with the highest-quality environment with enough oxygen for the development of a healthy root system. The excellent properties of this substrate will provide roots with enough air and quality water drainage, so the roots will not become waterlogged, will not be prone to various diseases, and will develop and thrive. Please note that the watering cycle needs to be adjusted to the greater water drainage.
